You know I've always wondered why someone with video editing skills hasn't pulled that clip apart and put it back together with the frames playing in reverse order.

Its a great well done scene (and the best one in the movie) but its FTM which I think limits its appeal for most of the community.

Actually it'd be really easy to reverse and keep the sound on a separate track. If only I still had premiere installed...

But the water would be falling up...? It would look a little weird if you reversed it, I'm sure, probably not very watchable either.

You'd have to get creative I think it could work though. Most shots would run normally and a few select ones in reverse to get the desired MTF effect

I have made this scene work backwords. It was...quite nice.

I didn't save it though! Perhaps I should do that again someday...hm?

Yes, if anyone puts together something that doesn't look supremely weird running backward it would be appreciated if they posted it. Also any suggestions as to a media player that can run in reverse would be nice.
