I'll echo Melk's statements. I was a fan of Zebra girl since waaaay back when, and having just discovered your Case Scenario work it hasn't changed my opinion any. He's still doing exceptional work, just on different subject matter, and the little remote-control gif is a hair shy of a masterpiece. ^_^V

Should I even bother posting Toonvasion stuff anymore? Because anyone even remotely interested in this thread should have him watched already.

In any case, here's his latest, a nurse into an alligator toon:

Hey. Sorry to bring back an old thread like this but I have something new to contribute. I got myself a toonification pic as a commission, from Case Scenario himself, and thought I would share it with you guys!

Not just a Toon TF, but a SILENT Toon TF!

Don't worry about it at all; I think this thread is worth keeping near the top of this sub-forum, and that is certainly a worthwhile contribution.

I'm honestly surprised I haven't come here to mention my frustrations on this particular topic before, because I really like Toon TFs, but I hate that so many of them seem to have an inexplicable need to throw furry/anthro TF into it as well. What's so wrong with just a Jessica Rabbit-esque exaggerated features and adherence to toon physics?

For anyone who's interested in Toon TF being depicted in writing, I have some stuff on the BEAddventure in the setting of One Piece, where I've made up the Ink Ink Fruit, which gives the user power over ink, which includes turning themselves or others into toon forms.

This is the most developed of the storylines in which I use it:http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...94/994747.html

Though I've gotten far enough in this one to have some transformation in it, too: http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...98/998761.html

I think it just comes from toon TF being so hard to depict in art, where most artists already have an inherently cartoony style to begin with. Becoming a toony animal is a really obvious and convenient visual cue.

Also some people just like furry I mean jeeze, yo.

A nice way of getting around this is what Case Scenario does, by radically warping his characters figures in a way that balances toon and uncanny valley really well imo.

Came across this recently and I think it could easily qualify as a before and after of a toon tf.

Basically, the first pic is an actual screenshot of one of the One Piece movies, and the second frame is the artist redrawing it in their own, more toon-like, IMO, style.

Figured this might go here; a clip from the movie Stay Tuned, which has two of the main characters going through the channels of their TV, ending up in a tom and jerry-style cartoon.
