Cinderella Boy anime.

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this series from the creator of Lupin III. Its a 13 episode anime from 2003 about a detective (named Ranma. Yes really) and a woman named Rella who get badly hurt and have their bodies merged by a doctor. Now, whenever the clock strikes midnight their body switches identities and appearances. Ranma becomes Rella and vice versa.

I honestly haven't seen it but I want to know the extent of the changes/process on the show (though I'm guessing offscreen). Discotek media recently liscenced it for dvd release.

The changes mostly tend to be off screen with a little bit of their body glowing a solid green as it starts. Only their bodies change, so if they don't change clothes beforehand then Rella would be wearing men's clothes and vice versa.

The anime with a spanish dub can be found on youtube if you look up "cinderella boy anime."

I remember watching it long ago. There was little if any process. I think only like the first time you saw the change and it was quite brief and glowy.

The last episode had a reasonably good on screen tg. Not spectacular but worthwhile.
