This is pretty nice, since Second Life seems to allow for more process than other programs. However, it takes a bit too long. I imagine this is due to you adjusting features off-screen (or something like that). If I could offer some advice, it would be to cut out or shorten the segments where nothing is happening. That'll make it shorter and more cohesive (and enjoyable, too)!

^ I'd agree with all of that. It's very nicely done, but drags a bit during those stretches where pretty much nothing happens.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Fair criticisms, thank you... this was mainly to practice using free Shotcut editing software, and to show-off my avatar's TG button, which automatically imposes this process on me (via Restrained Love relay), whenever another user clicks on it, going from M2F and (if they so choose) F2M, restoring me to my original male form. I also like the happy accidents of how some of the changing avatar's body language matches the music.

However, it can challenge one's attention span, I guess... so I just made a quicker one, with fade edits, using similar footage I recorded a few months ago. Have a look--

Wait, hold up -

The TG button in this video is a real thing Second Life has? Other users can actually push it and switch your avy's gender?

Cool!

Also, second video is very nice.

Man. If those buttons existed in real life, I would totally try one. Provided I could turn back to exactly my old self and prevent other people from pushing it without my consent, that is.

Yes, it is... and they can.

Basically, I came up with the rough idea for it a few years ago, and a SL friend at the time, who can script (I can't yet, other than very basic, beginner's stuff), wrote some code to make it work with RLV. It's designed so that others can push it and TF me, but I can't TF myself (unless I send one of my alts in-world to push it). Via RLV, it forces me to wear each avatar, and then automatically switches it out for the next one, at whatever interval I put into the script, until I reach the final, fully-female form. Once started, it can't be stopped or reversed until I reach that last female stage. I can only return to male form if the button is pressed a second time, and the same conditions apply.

I usually have it set to change me at 10-second intervals, so the process is speedy enough to witness without waiting too long, but slow enough that the force-changes don't step on each other, ruining the effect --and slow enough for myself and others to comment on, if it's in a roleplay situation. But I can set the button to change me as quickly as a TF stage every 5 seconds, or as slowly as a TF stage every hour (or longer).

I built the button prim, and the set of avatar shapes for the full TG process. All the skins, hair (some of which I modified a little), Animation Overriders, etc are inventory stuff I've bought/won over the years, and cobbled them together to make something like a coherent progression from manly male to androgyne to stunning female. I also have an X-rated version, featuring gradually-diminishing male genitals. Recently, I created a couple of simple, additional scripts that tell me who has pushed my button (useful when the perp is at a distance, or when I'm in a populated sim), and cause the button to say "Go-Go Gadget! Sex-Change!", both in audio (as you can hear in the first video --and that's all my real voice, both male and female, altered thanks to some wizardry with Audacity software) and in text in local chat. :D

The button isn't for sale, though, unfortunately. This is mainly because I can't include the avatar parts with the button (especially the skins, one of the most important parts for effectively selling the transformation), since I used existing skins from various vendors. If I did sell it, all I could offer is the button itself, and a set of shapes, since I don't currently have the time or skills required to make decent skins or mesh bodies. :(

That's an impressive amount of work you put into it. The end result looks good, though, so I guess it was worth it! :-)

You could always sell the button and have it be an instantaneous change, of course. Though that isn't as much fun.
