Thanks for all of the feedback about "Down the Drain" and the site as a whole. I do take these into account when deciding what titles to continue, what to scrap and when to try new things.

First, I'd like to address the issue regarding the origins of the story. As a matter of policy we only publish original works and (in rare cases) adaptations of existing written stories with express permission granted from the original creator. It was only brought to my attention recently that there exists a shower shrinking mini comic that was posted to 4chan submitted by an anonymous artist. Our staff has since taken steps to try to contact the artist but this might be impossible since it was posted anonymously. Side note: If you know the artist or are the artist please contact us.

That being said, there have been other works of fiction, published before and after that mini comic was posted, that involve a woman shrinking in the shower. Needless to say we'll be putting our efforts toward depicting other scenarios and leave the shower shrinking to anyone else who wants to give it a go.

We are also doing our best to reach a point where we're able to offer more content each month -- of course this is contingent on our production capacity and costs associated. Every membership brings us one step closer to this goal.

The original piece was acknowledged by Merc in this post on deviantart: https://www.deviantart.com/mercomix/...-1st-787630927

I know that shrinking in the shower isn't an original idea but it is beat-for-beat very similar, right down to her waking up in her bed still shrunk. Apparently there was also like an audio reading that people say he ripped dialogue from? But that seems sketchy to me. I haven't heard it myself but it's very generic reactionary dialogue. Anywho, if you want to get Drawanon's attention speak to them on the /d/ shrinking women thread on 4chan. Either way he'll probably say not to sweat it but I think the gesture would be appreciated by the community at large. (Also you could try to get him on board with you guys, he's a p.good artist. >_>)

I agree with this statement and while ideas may be free, the above link shows that it was "inspired" And what I see by "inspired" is "This is a cool idea, lets do this with better art and make the scene longer."

I am not saying I disapprove and the anon who made the original comic said he was fine with it and that he also was inspired to make it from an old Minimizer story.

My issue is that this shouldn't have taken a month slot. It should have been a 15th comic issue, like you have done in the past. It was nice, but the dialogue is generic and the reaction for her shrinking but masturbating anyway feels forced. In conclusion, I feel like this shouldn't have taken a monthly issue slot by itself and that it would be nice if we got more than one comic a month to justify the $15 a month pricetag. That's the price of a full month of WoW sub. I don't mind paying that much. But it would be nice to get more than one comic a month out of that.

That's an interesting idea, I realize that our community probably isn't big enough to cover expenses for two comics per month, but a monthly sequence or mini-comic (I don't know if it has already been proposed) at the end of the main issues would surely be an improvement

That's an idea we've mulled over in the past. It's certainly something that would add more value for members. I'll consider this as an option that's on the table.

Maybe 2 comics a month is pushing it for a smaller community... buuut.... Why not do the usual one a month, then do like a "holiday" or special issue? Not necessarily released on as regular of a schedule (business needs permitting), but then like every 4 to 6 months there's an extra comic?

Monthly price point stays the same, but end up with more than 12 (but still plenty fewer than 24) comics per year.

I don't know much about business but that sounds workable. That said, it sounds like they need more artists as well.

As much as I hate micro-transactions in gaming, they have been great revenue generators. Theoretically you could make cheap side content for cheap. Then give the option for people to buy it for a low price. Could be done with or with out a subscription. Just don't pull an EA (Electronic Arts).

I think I died a little with this idea.:(

That would be great, in any case I really appreciate you directly listen to clients feedbacks and ideas

It's difficult to get people to dedicate monthly subs, that's for sure. I've been relieved to have such a good experience with these websites. And really, it's content I need. So I'd have only myself to blame if I don't support it.

Tiedefender, I definitely wasn't implying a microtransaction model >_<

It sounded like people were feeling disappointed about getting 1 comic/month for their sub... so I was like "what if there's a quarterly bonus comic?". Like when you have a month with 3 paychecks and you're like "YAAAAS" and good things happen.

I do see where that could be problematic for people subbing and canceling and subbing and canceling (... >_>... I maybe did that a little till I was more financially secure). Maybe have a "VIP" content section for people who have been continuously subbed for X months, or who paid for X months up front?

I didn't mean to make you think that about my reply. So oops.

I know I feel some disappointment some times with it. But then again I have a more narrow view on what I like. And it has only narrowed more over the years.

I do like the VIP idea. It would seem any other idea I have right now is to resource intensive to do.

Yeahhh... finding shrinking RP play when I was on f-list more was hard. I'm like, no please no bodily waste. Or crushing me to death. OR EATING ME! Can you fart? What? No. Wait, why are we spending a paragraph on sweat. Pls no. You want me to be so small your arm hairs are like tree trunks? How can I... anything anymore at that size...

Apparently I'm terribly boring and narrow too. Gentle pet-owner shrinking of me to between 2 and 12 inches without vore, violence, death, shoving of phallic objects into my various orifices, or unhygienic activities is demandingly specific >_<

/rant

But damn if these shrinkfan comics aren't frequently hitting my likes. Small Fortune (<3), Invisible Girl, True Desire, Laundry Day, Watch Your Tongue, Toonstruck, Shrinkovision, A Little Competition (loved that). All of which have made me happy.

I'm real eager to read Little and Small Change... hopefully Lucky Mallet is fun too. The scarcity of the content means I'm happy supporting comics I'm not interested in (like Measure of a Warrior & Operation Half-Off) if they keep alive the ones I do want.

I too feel the pain as my favorite size is 1 foot to 3 feet and people often one 12 inches to micro, not mini-girl.
;.; But the gentle pet-owner is a fav and far too many on F-list seem to want hard dominatrix and body odor/(UNMENTIONABLE). Vore, death, gore... bleeeeehhhhhhh. Just looking for a consensual excitement shrink, maybe one that's "normal" for that world? Lately, I have seen a few comics introduce this, one is coming up but I just know it's going to skip past all of my favorite size and go straight to the 2-5 inch or less mark because "tiny people are property and cannot be allowed rights"

To be honest, my best long-term sizeplay came from WoW where my character willingly shrunk herself to sell her alchemy. Because, gimmicks, yay. And then met someone who fell in love with her at that size. Her wife-pet she called my character. It was a lot of willing ownership and leashplay, along with a cage to relax in during travels. ^.^ Very consensual and lasted maybe for over a year before things faded away and I faction changed to the Alliance again.
