Instagram AR face morphs
 

I've been lurking for a long time. Wanted to post this for a while but wasn't sure because I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere so I hope I did right.

Recently there's been these new AR filters that Instagram has released where people can make their own filters for others to use. There's one filter called Genetics Scanner where it fools the use thinking it'll guess their ethnicity but then suddenly morph their face into various animals. It's not bad to be honest considering it is a filter made for laughs and not for the tf content.

There's also one called Horse Morph. It puts a transparent grayish filter over your face and turns it into a horse.

Lastly, I know there's another (better imo) horse face morph but it's on TikTok. Only found it because of this video at 6:15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBgMpxQamBg&t=.

Purposedly downloaded instagram just to try it out. Not going to download tiktok though for various reasons though.

Would it be also possible to use it on the desktop to put it on videos or something?

I think if you've got the setup for SparkAR and all the textures and 3D models etc, you can apply it to test videos. I know liassur has uploaded a bunch of videos to IG where he's done exactly that https://www.instagram.com/liassur29/
