I found this cartoon series called Wicked! on a website where you can watch all 26 episodes online. In episode 3 called "Curdled" there is some belly inflation in it and belly deflation towards the end of that episode. Here's the link to where you can watch the series online.

it starts at about 13:24...I think. It's not terrible, but not great either. The player is kind of awkward.

That is some real bad animation. And as low budget as I've seen...

Ah Wicked. I remember this show.

I checked out the last episode of this on the player just to see how it all ended. Yeah and what a crap ending it turned out to be. The villian turns out to be the kids father and then for some reason he stops hating so he becomes human again. all in the space of 5 minutes. There was a reason this show wasn't a classic. :P

I've actually read the book series this thing was based on, and I've never been so bloody disgusted with an adaptation in my life.

Plus it had one of the biggest inconsistencies ever.

In the opening of every single episode it clearly showed the virus apples came aboard a ship, a bloody great big ship at that. HOWEVER, in the last episode when he reveals how he became the Appleman he says it happened in a factory and he was taken to hospital even though in the opening he just legs it out of the ship!

The writers should have been shot.
