Re: Birdsong Rising - Shrink Fan Comics
Having read the comic and thought about it, I can only say it is okay. I'll try and list some pros and cons first.
Pros: The art is decent. Fitting well with the super hero theme. The demonstration and use of her powers is nice. Good to see a variety of heroes and villains. Cons: Sex scenes come off as forced. Story moves to fast. We get told of friendship and not see it build. Comic doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it about Birdsong's powers, love life, trying to be about a rising star? While it is focused on the heroine, it isn't focused on a plot. Things just sort of happen. This comic has potential. However I feel it was lost do to pacing. To much there and not enough fleshing out. |

Major buzzkill with death of the focus character.
