I recently came across this pic (called "Giant Alice") by an artist named Mindy Lee- I suppose that it technically counts as size-related material, given the tiny rabbit. No process, tho'.

Re: Alice In Wonderland

I ordered this light novel and I just got it today:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4...cii-netacho-22

First off, If you`re Alice fan its a MUST-BUY.

I loved this novel.

It pretty much follows the original story however unlike most light-novels, this has alot of illustrations both taking full pages and part of pages and they are GODDAMN ADORABLE.

Now as for the process, lets see here.

As far as illustrations go.

1)
Alice stares at the table with the "Drink Me" bottle after searching the doors

Unfortuantely shrinking is not shown.

2) Alice ADORABLY eats a slice of "EAT ME" cake

No GTS shown

3) A SUPER CUTE GIANT Alice literally crying a lake while sitting on the floor.

4) Alice cramped in the cottage(AMAZON link shows this)

5) A fantastic POV shot of shrunken Alice after leaving the cottage being surrounded by flowers as tall as trees with a hungry-looking Bear cub with its mouth open and tongue out staring at her.

6) Shrunken Alice standing next to Caterpillars mushroom platform.
The musroom is at the level of her face.

We do not see her eating the slices of mushroom unfortunately.

0) Not process-related but have to bring this up but the Hatter LOOKS MAD AS S**T.
SERIOUSLY its like a combination of being high, drunk, insane.
HE TERRIFIES ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7) Alice grows and in the process destroys part of the Court-room by accident.
Her face looks down upon the people in the Courtroom.

8) Giant Alice in a tornado of playing cards surrounded by what lokks like the night sky with many stars.

The artwork will grab you.

If you`re a process fan, well there is no process(illustrated) although there is plenty of shrunken and Giant Alice in that INCREDIBLE design.
Which in all honesty is enough for you to buy it.

If you`re an Alice and/or a process fan.
This is worth your money.

There is a sequel based on the 2nd Alice book "Through the Looking Glass" which I assure you I will get around to getting within the next few months.

http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E6%96%B0%E8...d_bxgy_b_img_b

I have supplied the information now pay up!

Re: Alice In Wonderland

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT!!!! !!!!

OK!

QUEENS BLADE Fans Prepare!!!!!!

No process confirmed(yet)

First we had Queens Blade!
Then its sequel Queens Blade Rebellion which an anime of finished recently.

The sequel of Rebellion known as "Queens Blade Grimoire"(not the anime but game which Queens blade fans is based off of, if you`re a fan then you probably know the franchise origin so I won`t bother explaining) was announced a while back.

Earlier this week the first 4 characters of Rebellions sequel have been unveiled.

First up we have Tina, "The Little Mermaid"(seriously? she`s little?)

http://i48.tinypic.com/jgo0lg.jpg

next we have Zara, "Demon Hunter of Little Red Riding Hood"

http://i50.tinypic.com/35mqmva.jpg

third we have Kaguya, "Princess of the Magic Sword"

http://i45.tinypic.com/kn77c.jpg

Now it should be obvious by now that the warriors of Queens Blade Grimoire are based off fairy tales(Which makes me SUPER HAPPY)
I am honestly looking forward to seeing what other characters we`ll see and a Grimoire anime when it comes out in I imagine in at least 2 years or so.

If you care.

Tina is based off "The Little Mermaid"
Zara is based off "Little Red Riding Hood"
Kagura is based off "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", a japanese fairy tale.

Now here it is people.

Meet the protaginist of the third generation of Queens Blade.

We have Alicia the "User of the Darkness in Wonderland"

http://i46.tinypic.com/14vsdoz.jpg

I don`t think I need to say, oh what the heck.

The protaginist of "Queens Blade Grimoire" is based of the character Alice from "Alice in Wonderland"

Now what would make 100 times happier is if Grimoire released the 1-inch high swordsman as character in Grimoire:

wikia on one-inch high:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issun-b%C5%8Dshi

Then again the 4 debuted characters are based off female charcters from fairy tales.

Regardless, seeing this Cute, tough and cool version of Alice is a MAJOR TREAT!!!!

I sincerely hope we see some SW and or GTS from her.

I really want to hear your thoughts on Alicia and Queens Blade Grimoire everyone!!!!

What do you think?

And is there any particular girl from fairy tales regardless of which country you would like to see enter the Queens Blade universe?

If you ask me I would like to see Sleeping Beauty, make no mistake Alice will be my no.01 preference.
Sleeping beauty would be bound to have an interesting story.

3rd place goes to Thumbalina.

So what about you guys, what do you think about Alicia, Grimoire and any other character you hope to see?

Issue 83 of Doctor Who has a 5-pages-comic-strip about Alice In Wonderland, in which the female protagonist, Donna, grows giant. You can find an extract of the growth scene here: http://www.alteredvistas.co.uk/html/...octor_dwa.html (remember, issue 83)
Also, in the cover we can see a small brief scene: "Donna's a giant!"

Cool find. And on a personal note, why is it the best things in life are given the number "83"? And I'm not asking that just because I was born in "1983", either.

I don't like the non-process stuff anymore than anyone else. In fact, I hate it. Nothing worse than a title that starts with "No Process BUT..." If it were up to me that would never happen.

However there has been a long standing acceptance of implied process, and depending on what the stills or the video looks like, a giant Alice rammed into a room would certainly fall under the implied category.

lbh 10-10-2012 10:51 AM

Re: Alice In Wonderland

I saw it finally, it wasn't worth it:( The guy who won did like a small hallway and room, and an oversized but really didn't sell the transitions inbetween. The woman who lost did such artsy crap you couldn't even tell what scale the Alice was supposed to be:mad: The Actress was kind of hot and did well sell the scale changes. A waste of time, sorry :o

I wouldn't count on it.
Woolverton is known more for comic tragedies, like The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast.

Expect lots of over-the-top acting with minimal adult content. :(

If they were going to go so far away from the original, and cast Mia Wasikowska as Alice, none of that nudity was unnecessary :P

If K-Lite doesn't have it (Option 7 or 8, with or without Media Player Classic, respectively), and VLC doesn't open it, renaming it from .mpg to .mp4 probably won't work, but - as a last-ditch effort - it's worth a shot. ;)
