I'd like nothing more than to work with Red Parrot.

But you may have noticed that his "real" job doesn't leave him a lot of time to work on this stuff anymore.

And he's about the only one left. Missa quit, Media Impact would be okay but probably not as good as we'd really want (not to mention terribly expensive for a feature-length custom commission with multiple people in it) and...

...well that's about it, really.

That is a bit saddening. Missa and Red parrot had two of my favorite videos.
I'm a Professional Woman NOT a Doll II and Shrinking Bride.

Back to the movie. Lets say the second shrinking was permanent. The husband could have a moment of crisis with Pat. Then get shrunk him self so they could be together. Though I would prefer everyone be restored at some point.

The only possible permanent shrink Id want to see would be the villainness. Shes tiny. Pat gets restored, and they destroy the antidote as the tiny girl looks up from her giant pile of clothes

Not sure what else to add or subtract. Not sure how much fame a shrinking woman would get. I'm sure she would make the news. Most people would think it was a hoax.

Needs to have her interact with people as she shrinks. Like being carried and hand held scenes. But that would mean a loss in mass. Could explain it away with technobabble. Like she still has the same mass but is emitting a quantum repulsion field proportional to how much she shrinks. Allowing her to function some what normally. The problem being at a certain size could collapse into a singularity. Or her atoms finally separate at the speed of light causing her to explode like a nuclear bomb.

I could be over thinking this.

Its just a fantasy. I wouldnt overthink it.

Luckily, these days with technology, the shrunken Pat could probably still do her job from home with a tablet. So she might not have to seek fame.

I should note that I overthink most things. Not food though, I like my food simple and plain.

It would be kind of funny to see her typing on a tablet like it was Dance Dance Revolution. Though at some point she should accept she can't do normal things any more. Or maybe do some normal things just not in a normal way. It was silly in the movie how Pat was still trying to be a home maker, after she hit child size.

I remember her trying to cook bacon when she was smaller than the pan, and finding that scene unintentionally horrifying. I really hated the whole film, with Lily Tomlin making every other character act so horrible to to support her "message".

Yeah I have no idea what they were thinking with that. Or when she tries to smoke a cigarette at her small size. I agree the "message" was bad.

I agree with this.

There's a scene when she's about half-size, where she's on the counter getting the plates out of the cabinet, and then she climbs down and balances the salad bowl on her head. Though I love the interaction with the objects, her husband and kids sit at the table watching TV.

I understand her trying to maintain some level of normalcy of her life, but there comes a point when the people who should care about her would insist she not. I didn't mind the cigarette bit so much, but if she had lost her grip on one of those strips of bacon, she could've landed face first on the griddle. And what about spattering bacon fat taking her out?

Not what I want to see that happen to a SW.

I definitely agree with this.

I was trying not to think about the frying pan scene to much. But since you brought up the details I could do one better. The convection from said pan should have burned her. She is closer to the heat. And she spends far longer in that heat than a normal person would. So yeah bad all the way around. I don't want to see that either.

Must be that http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...nSchmonvection

Do we still agree with Pat having a teen daughter instead of a son & daughter being children?

I think that would be fine. I would have a teen son too. But that would be more for balance.
