Tom Holland's Twisted Tales

Tom Holland is a film director who did Fright Night, Child's Play and Thinner. Most recently he did a series of horror web shorts called Tom Holland's Twisted Tales...

UNFORTUNATELY, the SW episode didn't get produced (one of 4 that didn't, probably due to budget) but he released a book version of the episode, and it is an excellent read. The story concerns itself with a man who curses his wife to disappear, thinking it's a joke. She quickly starts shrinking rather fast, maybe an inch a minutes or so and I don't want to give away the story but I recommend it for slow shrink fans. She slowly shrinks out of her dress, then out of large size doll clothes, then barbie, and beyond. And it's only 99 cents on amazon for the Kindle version. Buy it, read it, love it.

EDIT: Let me also say that it's not a fetish story, it's horror. It's more like an episode of Tales from the Darkside or something. But he does a fairly good job of describing her diminishing size, mostly in relation to whatever she happens to be shrinking out of at the moment. There's a good amount there for people who like shrinking-out-of-clothes stories. I liked it, I hope you do to.

Amazing how I passed by this one many times thinking it was just some random fetish writer instead of an established name (though I'm of the camp that debates the "Master of Horror" title). I can't find anything that says this specific story was actually cut from production (if you could link it I'd appreciate it) but obviously being his own work he's entitled to use it. The dvd was received ok so hopefully that's encouragement for him to work on including it in a new series.

That was well worth the dollar. Well-written and paced.

It's in the imdb trivia section. It also mentions in the wikipedia citation that four episodes were cut from the original thirteen, though it doesn't mention them by name. This would have made a great episode, but I can imagine it costing a lot of money.

Can anyone tell me exactly how small she gets.

What about for those of us who don't have Kindle and are "old school readers"?

And FYI-there is a TON of erotic shrinking novels in the "related works" section.

I don't have a Kindle either. You can download an application that will read kindle format files. That's what I did. I used the Kindle app for my iPhone. Good Luck!

As for how small she shrinks, I don't want to be a spoiler. For 99 cents you can read about it yourself ;) But if you tell me why the answer matters I might reconsider.

Ok, so before I cave and buy it, I do have a couple of questions (and a PM would be a fine response to avoid spoilers): They list it at 48 pages, but does the shrinking start on page 1? Or is anyone willing to give a plot/scene something away?

It starts fairly quickly and continues in stages right up to the end of the book. Man comes home from work, gets pissed at wife, messes with voodoo doll, cue shrinking.

It's hard to go wrong for 99 cents. As said in RoboCop: "I'll buy that for a dollar!"
