Looking for help to promote first book
 

This may not be the best place to ask, but I'm giving this a shot.

Five years ago, I started writing a fantasy series - 'Upon a Star' - and wrote enough material to publish at least five books. The first one of the series, 'Karyana's Journey', is now on sale after months of deals and delays with my publishing company.

Now, I have a huge challenge ahead: promoting and selling my novel. While I can contact my list of contacts, I want to broaden my horizons and make that book a success.

Does anyone have tips for me to get the most buzz for my book?

Well currently Tuit Sutherlands
Wings of Fire series
and
Naomi Noviks
Temeraire series

are hot.

Though I'm not the Wings of Fire target audience
I go for those older kids books
because they DON'T have yiff,process and fetish in them,just a interesting backstory
that I've been willing to invest my emotions in.Hence because the first one I came across
( I think the 2nd in the 10? book series
cranked my motor I hung in there
with the series as it moved along
