After reading this I think it's pretty good.

The good

1. The art looks well made. The art maintains it's quality throughout the comic.

2. It's a complete story and the scenes flow naturally together.

3. Nice shrinking sequences. Can actually see her change size.

The bad

1. The layout of the comic. Have to zoom in to read then constantly scroll up and down. With PDF not enough room between new pages to indicate new section.

2.The explanation of the shrinking device could have been more concise.

3.Mercedes hair looks inconsistent at times. The quality appears to dip lower in some scenes.

Re: Operation: Half Off - Shrink Fan Comics

Operation Half Off was one of my most anticipated comics. The story about the shrinking spy looked promising and as it was finally released, I was not disappointed.

Let us first start with the main character.
Mercedes is a beautiful breath-taking woman. But don’t get distracted by her blonde, behind her pretty face she is smart, resourceful and a very characteristic woman.
Not only by the way she says things but also how she moves. The artist did a great job on her body language.

But what would be a spy-story without an intriguing plot. The story has an interesting setting.
Instead of a fictional criminal organization, our spy has to steal some valuable data from an imaginary country from their embassy.
Of course our spy hasn’t counted on some unexpected obstacles and a very dutiful janitor.

Our spy Mercedes does shrink to the size of a midget and later even smaller.
This may sound for fans of hand-sized women discouraging, but it fits perfectly to the story and you will soon find this petite woman really adorable.

Summary:
This comic did really a great job. There is no point where the reader thinks the scenes are rushed or protracted.
I absolutely love good stories and well written characters.
And the best of it, the story does not put the reader off with “to be continued…”, but is completely told in one issue.
If there is something to say negative of Operation Half Off, I can’t make some up.

Greetings
Captain Ash

This is probably my favorite comic that you guys have created thus far. It's a great story and has some amazing art and shrinking sequences. I love it.

We're glad you guys like it so much, too.

Yeah, I might have to second this comment. Or at least give it a tie with "One Extreme to Another." (Note: I'm not counting my own "A Small Sacrifice" because I'm biased! ;) )

I love how she looks when sitting in the chair at the end of the comic, and I wish the artist had shown her feet dangling. That's about the only negative--and that's just me wishing rather than criticizing--I can find with this one!

First off, let me say that I really liked it. I saw the previews and immediately renewed my subscription. The protagonist shrinks multiple times, each time by less than a quarter, and gets into various naked shananigans. Very well made.

there were a few down sides:
- I would have loved seeing her compared to the "entertainment organizer" after her shrink. he obviously couldn't see her, but she could slink round a corner or something. It would have really sold the shrinking for me.
- The ambassador was a little too ugly, it was kind of distracting. she's seducing him, so she's obviously meant to be much hotter than him, but it went a bit too far for me.

Anyway, I liked it so much, I decided to make a little tribute photo. Here's hoping for more stories with gradual multiple shrinks :D

@DangerousDave
That's an awesome tribute photo.
Her hair style is different but she still looks cool. :D
I second on the multiple shrink part.

Love the tribute, DangerousDave! ;) Thanks for your astute and fair criticisms of the comic.

I subscribed for the first time specifically for this comic, and I will just say that it was well worth it. I enjoyed the comic quite a bit, as well as the others (amazing job bringing Scidram's story to life, BTW).

This one was exceptionally well done, though, and I really enjoyed watching her explore the mini sizes. I'm gonna disagree with DangerousDave about the ambassador. Yeah, he was fugly, but that really made her expressions of struggling with her mission all the more enjoyable. Like Scidram, I loved the scene of her sitting in the chair at the end, and though this wasn't a weak area, I did find myself craving more size comparisons to normal sized characters.

Very sexy and it was so much fun watching a comic that focused so much on this range of sizes.

and yeah, that tribute photo was fantastic!
