good to hear! I remember reading there were some legal problems surrounding the film. I guess that's been resolved

Unfortunately, the studio that was supposed to distribute the film is having major issues and it just recently booted its chairman. Near the beginning of the month it was talking about re-evaluating their plan for the future, and so far no one has mentioned the Aug 29th date since. Siiiigh. :P. Hopefully someone will release it, seeing as it won a bunch of awards. Continuing to keep my eye on this one.

If anyone is in the Syracuse, NY area, there is a screening of Yellow as part of the Syracuse International Film Festival at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 11th at the Landmark Theatre (362 South Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13202). A ticket would cost $12 (unless you’re a Syracuse University student, in which case it’s free). It doesn’t look like it’s getting to regular theaters any time soon, though.

Have been wondering the same.. last I saw there was litigation issue that slowed stuff down and the distribution company seems pretty inactive
