Yeah, I know the possibility of it being an imposter does exist. However, there were a couple pics that have been added in his style that I'm fairly sure are new(pretty sure the DS wasn't around when he left), so I'm gonna go with the benefit of the doubt for now.

If you by any chance don't know who CattyN is, SHAME ON YOU.

EDIT: While chatting elsewhere, most people seem quite convinced that this is a faker. If that's the case, then I hope that, if nothing else, this thread contributes in getting the word to someone who can make sure.

EDIT THE SECOND: With it made undeniably clear that this was just a troll, I think this thread can be safely locked.

This should be....interesting. Considering how he left before, it might not be so warm a welcome from some people.

For the record, while I think he went about it the wrong way, he did have a right to ask what he did and enforce it how he did. But a lot of people weren't exactly happy with him about it.

He got a job illustrating for some company and didn't want people to associate him with fetish art for fear of his job. Apparently.

The way he acting towards "the end" and the fact that they are all old works by his, I am pretty critical of this being the "real" CattyN. Though like I said, the way he would freak out whenever someone mentioned or posted his art, I am sure we are going to find out if this is legit or not REAL soon.

Edit: Also, yes the DS picture has been around before.

Didn't some troll pull this stunt once before, and the "new" DA page featured a handful of catty's old art, that has been floating around the internet for years, and the acocunt only lasted about a week before the real catty got wind of it and had the admins pull it?

If part of your past is drawing fetish porn and you want to get a job making children's books, I could see why you might hide it. As much as I liked his stuff, he wanted to pursue a career and thought it was the best choice, so more power to him. Of course he got hell and back for it.

And yeah, none of those are new, the DS one I've had saved for awhile. If you think about it, the first DS came out over 6 years ago.

As it's been said, he was trying to pursue a career as a professional artist, and potential employers frown upon fetish art; or so I hear. Which is a shame because his work was rather good. God, I've been lurking a long ass time.

I suppose that makes sense. But then again if you can draw porn that is liked by many.
Then something tame like drawning childrens book or what not is childs play in comparision. Just saying that having drawn porn is at least proof that you have some what of a drawning skill. Otherwise lesson that you can learn from this, that as an artist you should make diverse stuff, if you want to take it to a proffesional non fetish level.
That or take an alias like alot of mangaka do I think.

They put this kind of stuff up just to see if there's a pulloff response by Deviantart, meaning that CattyN is complaining and wants the stuff pulled. Its another way to see if CattyN has a pulse. *sigh*

Edit: CattyN also had a habit of whenever he opened a new image base there were at least 2-3 new images at the very start... at least as far as I can recall. This one has.... no new images, and the DS image is from the prior copycat that got shut down.

They should have picked someplace other than DA though, since it is only a matter of time before it's all pulled. Regardless of the reasoning, it was an entertaining little diversion.

If it really is CattyN why hasn't she/he posted here about their own return. When I first joined CattyN was a member here and posted their leaving her if I remember right (been a few years)

The right side of this picture appears to be a trace of this one. The left looks a before picture of the UPS girl one (that is on dA), but the before hasn't been posted on dA this time around, and I don't have it in my archive. So doesn't appear to be new, so I remain a cynic.

Man, while it might be a fake, it reminds me of the reason I always liked his art. Half the time, it was inflation with helium. That one pic where the assistant gets the liquid helium and they're floating...man, almost no one draws floating breasts anymore. I have an obscure fetish within an obscure fetish :P

you know i got to say it was a surprise when i thought it was cattyn but when i saw his ban and comments he made, i could tell it wasn't really him. At first it seem like it was but it wasn't. No wonder he didn't answer any art questions for me. Sigh. Oh well, least he is remember. Still evil for that person to do that.

I'm surprised it took THIS long for the "troll" to be ban. I remember the original post for these and most of them were from CattyN's website EXCLUSIVELY. plus the bloc was still using the classic "art theft talk" in he's descriptions and only replying to the naive/inexperienced. so my answer would be:*not amused tone* No.(too lazy to post the meme)
