not all gamers are like that. I, for example, don't really care what kind of graphics a game has as long as it has a good or enjoyable story. I simply don't care really what gimmick they use to sell a system. if it has the kind of games I like then I buy it.

seems like the hard core gamers are the ones you should be hating.

You should be fine with gamers just dont piss off the Halo fans and the Nintendo Super fanboys that refuse too touch another console.

This reminds me of one of my buddies he got really pissed when I told him Phantom Hourglass was the worst zelda I ever played.

Phantom hourglass WAS the worst Zelda I ever played. It just didnt have good pathing.

And I hear you. Though I am not thrilled with some of the new features of the new DS (sort of will miss that game slot) I love that they put a media card feature on them. The camera is meh, I just don't see the need, and if i really need a camera, I got one on my phone.

This is why I ignore new games. I would rather pull out one of my old systems than care about graphics and crap like that. People get critical of games when it becomes too involved in your life. There are more important things to worry about yet be a gamer at the same time. If you enjoy games, play ones that are fun to you.
