The TG Story Library (Offsite)

There has been complaining about a lack of decent TG story sites and collections on the Internet, thus I have taken it upon myself to at least provide a place where people may send in stories to be posted and to have at least slightly better search capabilities.

The TG Story Library

A free website made using blogger will be my tool. If you have a story you wrote, send it in to me to review. If you have a story that you like, send it in to me but include any and all licensing notes the author included. If it includes images, send those also or hotlink them (I can upload them on blogger).

I plan on updating the site daily after reading through at least some of the stories.

Stories can be sent to stonovan@yahoo.com or through AIM, though I am rarely on.

I will upload some of my stuff to start off first.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask.

Is it just me or dose text get cut off on the right side?

It may be your browser that you are using. If not, clicking on the story itself may help. If that still does not work, I'll look further into that and the layout.

It is just one story I was trying to look at the others look fine...and only in Firefox is this happening

"The Magic Bra by St. Onovan" is the one I saw this happen in

I looked at it again Ctu and I did not see the problem occurring. I don't know what to say.

Reif, thanks for the contribution. I hope to also put up a contributing authors page soon so if authors want a short description then they can.

I have a similar problem with Ctu. Maybe Firefox is the issue?

While I do enjoy the stuff, if the artist has been taking it down, I won't violate his terms.

In the meantime I am browsing Fictionmania, capturing and saving the best free use stories that I can find so starting next week, I might be able to post daily.

May as well throw my hat into the ring.

You know, I don't mean to rain on your parade or anything, really (and I always enjoy it when someone starts a new website), but... I would think Blogger isn't really the correct platform if you're going to be hosting TG fiction. Just look at your front page, it's nearly a mile long! Plus, it's disheartening to see that everyone's creating Blogger accounts so they (think) they can have their own websites. Don't get me wrong, Blogger is fine if you upload captions or what have you, but for anything more than "a Blog" of some type, you really shouldn't be using Blogger.

Re: The TG Story Library

No offense taken. While the system is not perfect, it is not a stop gap measure in any terms at all. I am using it more as a symbolic type of thing. Instead of complaining about Fictionmania, I am trying to make my own alternative, albeit small and flawed but the effort is what truly matters. Most sites start off far from how they plan on ending and even though I have no idea how far this will go, I'm going to try. Compiling stories while also filling out insurance forms is tedious. Car accidents are truly cumbersome.
