(La)Lola
Seems to be a number of European / International titles all called "Lola" that is based off a guy turning into a woman with a fairly memorable "wake-up" scene that has been replicated in various languages:
Spanish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH8rTSoDNU0 Greek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBqPo11w9GE Something Else: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqZPDnOnoKU Israeli version floating out there too. I'm interested in seeing the "transformation" as well as the post-change that is mostly featured in the video. The transformation is glazed over in the Something Else remix. |

Re: (La)Lola
Hi There,
Yes, I was curious of this subject for sometime. There has been a range of international intepretations of the theme, with variations to different extents in both the transformation and reaction. In regards to the Eva Adams question, there seems to be some confusion. Though many say the show is a non-starter, there remains some doubt as to if Fox may still air it. There was a pilot of the show shown, seemingly, with a different take still on the TF but I have been searching high and low with no hint of it  . It may yet surface online in time... For the forum, I have the Vietnamese version which seems to have a slightly longer, detailed transformation with a fairly orthodox reaction sequence after. http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/x9slft :) Also, the final link by genderhazard seems to be Chilean sequel series; a fairly unique adaptation as far as I know. Thanks, Alchemical Night. |
