The ten-year old in me is royally pissed that he never got this.

It looks like there's a poo behind your shoulder.

I want to hope that this will be better than the horrid other one, but the fact that Red will need to speak by default, therefore ruining his entire characterization as the quiet kid, makes me self-doubt...

I can't stop crying violently in happiness. The tears are endless. I can only hope they show up to Mt. Silver.

One can only hope that they don't make him out to be the idiot Ash eventually became.

Also, I feel a deeper connection to this main character, for I, too, chose Charmander as my starter back in Pokemon Red =P

To be fair, they wanted him to be as kawaii as possible, and they went overboard making him completely naïve.

I understand that after the first few seasons, they wanted to keep Pokemon as a kid's show, but yeah; they overdone Ash's naïveté. And the 4Kids dubbing did not help, either.

Kinda pisses me off that they went the obvious route and changed their mission statement from "4Kids" to "4Licensing" so easily.

Kinda like how Cartoon Network doesn't air cartoons anymore.

Fuck it, right? History Channel was meant to cater to rabbit breeding tutorials!

Goddamn kids and their trap music... GET OFF MY LAWN! :p

Let's be honest. What loser didn't?

Also a more minor complaint but he doesn't look enough like Red for my tastes, even his early art.

4ScrewingAnime is like that stubborn cockroach you always find in the bathroom, but you're never quick enough to get your shoe to stomp the fucker.
