BimboStoryClub.com Quick Review

The good news: the 'new'ish system wherein you can just buy individual comics is excellent news for those of us who don't want a recurring charge on the books.

The art is pretty much excellent and consistently so.

The bad news: For the longest time, they've only had one writer doing most of their works. I like Kris P. Kreme, don't get me wrong. Buuuuut, when it's the same voice all the time, it can quickly become a bit repetitive.

Also, would like to see them focus solely on producing comics or even make a separate store which does so since it is the comics angle which is unique. I mean, you can find bimbo text stories everywhere for nothing.... finding quality bimbo comics on the other hand is a bit more problematic and if such a site were found that catered just to that need, it might be one of the best sites ever.

Hmm. Maybe I should start writing comics for them, too. I didn't realize Kris P. Kreme was almost their only voice...

The funny thing is most of Kris' stuff on there is copy/pasted from his stuff on mcstories. A few word/name swaps here and there, some minor rewording of paragraphs, but anyone that's read a sizable chunk of his stuff will think to themselves "this seems vaguely familiar". I pointed this out months ago however, so I don't know if things have changed.

That sneaky bastard. How dare he?

*hums nonchalantly as he emails Wolf Lake to Giantess Club*

They asked me to write for them awhile ago and I respectfully declined. There really aren't many bimbofiction writers out there. I wonder if they can approach any of the new tumblr people.

Anyone is welcome to make a buck off my stories if they want to and can. I don't care.

Problem is KPK overloaded the queue before any of the other early authors got anything finished. There is other stuff coming, and I kind-of wish they'd interspersed it with the KPK because I want to see how it turned out. JR's Master PC story was great. I recommend it with the caveat that it isn't a Bimbo story. JR and I were both operating off the original MC Story Club branding, so don't expect much bimbo action when the Pratt comics start showing their faces.

Interesting, very interesting. Can you shed any more light on what the process was behind the scenes for choosing authors?

Nothing fancy. They dropped in at the MC forum and PMed all of the administrators for clearance. Then PMed some of the active writers asking for comic and story submissions for the MC Story Club. Kris may already been on board since he'd been working with the BE story club. I was busy writing other stuff at the time, so the only input I had was recommending they change the name. MC triggers the rape sensors for the credit card companies and it's really hard to do business on the Internet after getting banned from credit cards.

You're kidding. Hm, would mindcontrolcomics have had better luck with a different name then?

They might...for a while.
But they still have to operate through DVV Entertainment so it wouldn't take long for someone to figure it out.

It's a moot point now, as they seem to have a solution worked out.

I remember BSC having a 12.95 sale for a time but could never get the sign up to actually work. I thought it was worth a look just for Mariano Navarro.

Re: BimboStoryClub.com Quick Review

Bimbo and BE SC store concept is good, probably better than what Daphne is doing with MCC for delivery, but the implementation sucks. It's based around the same software they used for subscriptions and man, it effs up large when used for single-shot purchases. You order a comic and you'll get download access to the comic, or some of it anyway, but good luck downloading another comic anytime soon. It might even be blocking access to other users of the same ISP address pool. I'm not sure, but some days you can order and others you get a "Your account is currently being processed" e-mail.

By the way, HMB, you should update your signature and replace the artblog link with your tumblr now that the artblogs pretty much abandoned.

Re: BimboStoryClub.com Quick Review

Not a fan of BSC. Every installment of every comic wastes quite a few of its 13 pages on banal sex scenes. I can find that anywhere, and I'm here for bimbo tf, which the BSC has shockingly little of. The mental transformation is always brushed of for fear of alienating a wider audience, when the only reason people are there in the first place is for bimbos.

So, can any of you tell what stories on the BSC actually revolve around the girl becoming a dumb little bimbo? Specifically, the comics. I'm the written stories do a better job of it.
