Yeah, I hear that it was mostly poof transformations during the show, with only a hint of process at random moments.

Alright, here's one.

Although it certainly makes more sense for the penis to turn into the clit (and that's what nearly every does in this genre) I have to admit a certain soft spot for the folks who do a literal penis-to-vagina transformation.

The brief glimpse of that outside-the-body vaginal "tube" always adds that extra bit of weirdness to the whole affair.

I'd be annoyed if everyone did it this way, but having it show up from time to time is a fun little treat.

there was a bit of nice process in the anime where Ranma was in the rain and Happosai gropes him right after the change where you see the breasts grow in full view. cant remember the name of the epidsode it was one of the stories from the manga where the put girl repellent on his Hapo's back.

but I have most of the show on dvd and a lot of it is Poof or wacky slide panel. but they had less to work with in the 80s.
