Trouble is that I think that they are helping to hide the original neckline of the outfit. A few years ago I tried a video/ poser clip, the collar bone area/ seam was a pain. Even using transparency maps, it was hard to hide the seam, started to try and blend each frame in photoshop, which looked good until you watched it back as a video again.
At the moment I'm saving up for a motion-tracking program that will take some of the work out of it.
I was thinking of using some video of someone like Abby from NCIS. She wears a spiked collar, so the seam could be hidden just below that. Using people wearing scarves or thick necklaces may also help.
Loved ooze3d's video though, one of the best I've ever seen.
