Yeah, I agree whole heartedly. There have been a number of times when I've been forced to watch Alice in Wonderland with my nieces and it is very embarassing at times trying to fight the urge. I'm sure that, as a girl too, it's even harder. Somehow as a guy it's assumed that I would tend to like kinkier stuff where women are often made out to have to be traditionalists in the sexual realm. At least, that's from my experience.
The main thing though is being true to yourself and should the day come where you have to explain yourself to friends, family, or significant other then you must prepare for the worst but hope for the best. I know friends have forced it out of me and while they often thought I was lying they would eventually believe me and say, "well, whatever; just a bit odd..." People sometimes are complete shockers. I hope you find some peace in your struggle.
