This is my first post and after this I'll probably go back to lurking but first, two things:

Anamorphs, a whole series about teenagers turning into animals to fight aliens.

What actually got me to comment though was thinking back to a short story I read in middle school about a man turning his baby daughter into a human bee hybrid. I remembered finding it in an Alfred Hitchcock short story collection and when I googled it I found it was written by the same person, Roald Dahl, who wrote "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "James and the Giant Peach", and "The Witches" all of which contain a good amount of transformation.
