What I personally like are "graphic division" TFs. There are several I can think of:

1) The move "Doppelganger," a B-type horror movie with Drew Barrymore in which her multiple personalities split into two monsters, who later graphically merge together as well. Really memorable shit, though I can't find it now.

2) "Army of Darkness" when the main hero, Ash, splits into two after swallowing a smaller version of himself and drinking some scalding hot water afterward.

3) "Nightmare on Elm Street 5" where Freddy bursts out of the body of the main female lead, also very graphic and drawn out.
