1. Rapid growth vs slow growth
Varies depending on my mood, and how well the story or artwork is done. Both are highly enjoyable, but in a well done, long story [comic, written, video, etc], I much prefer a slow steady growth, rather than quick random bursts.
2. Sex scenes (BE may occur) vs no sex scenes
Both, again. Just throwing sex scenes into a story is silly, especially when considering chance meetings or what not.
--2A(if yes to sex scenes) Violent growth(rapid growth that may cause pain vs nonviolent growth (growth that may actually feel nice)
Both again [I'm so indifferent], some pain is fine because it's realistic, but there should always be some form of enjoyment out of it in the end.
