It's pretty recent, last time I checked the series was on Trouble 83 [2008-Vol.06/07], To Love Ru is being serialized in the Shounen Jump which means it has easily 4 or 5 chapters by month usually, but this is not true always.

The last Tankoubon is Vol.07, released in 2008-01-09 and is only up to Chapter 61, we won't be seeing Tankoubon scans, at least in like 6 months, unless someone decide to release multiples ones at once (on the same date), but that's unlikely, though it has happened before.

This is pretty common check the Ai Kora thread, the magazine scans corresponding to the 9th volume were posted more than 3 months before this was released.

BTW, Kentaro Yabuki (矢吹健太朗) is the illustrator and Hasemi Saki (長谷見沙貴) the writter, it's a coauthored series.
