I'm looking for a story.
It starts in a truck with a couple. The boy is trying to have sex with the girl. The girl gets furious and leaves. When she gets home, she lights fire to all her memories of him, wishing she knew what he wanted: love or sex. Some spirit appears in the fire and grants her wish. Unfortunately, she later finds out that whatever the boy thinks of her will happen. She tries to use it to her advantage, but it backfires. She finally strikes a deal with her boyfriend: one night to do whatever he wants with her in exchange for a break up

Two things I remember specifics wise: I think the boy's name was Shane
It ends with the sentence- Little did she know her problems would follow her to her next boyfriend as well.

Wow. It's surprising what I can remember compared to my bad short term memory...... anyway, this ring a bell to anyone?
