Just... ew.
It's Tenebrae.
I have to jump in on this. I know Tenebrae pretty good and I do know three things:
1. He doesn't run BESC, he's just an editor.
2. He thought issue four of SRU Dream girl did not turn out well. (He actually said something else but he can give a direct quote if he prefers.)
3. The above comment is not his MO.

But... The whole SRU Dream girl is something the BESC should seriously consider to reevaluate. It was some time in 2005 when the first notion of "Create a Comic for the BESC" came out. Not many people put in for it. I was one individual.

The main thing is any story that the BESC puts out is (either directly or indirectly) a representation of the site. Dream girl had huge promise. By issue two I was chomping at the bit for more. Issue three had the entire community clamoring, "OMG what will happen next!"

But...

Issue four was one big crap shoot, and the fact that the current 'Caretakers' of the BESC state they lost contact with Anonymoose(sp?) makes me wonder about the 'infrastructure' of the site. The place barely functions with the promise of two stories a month.

Yet, I'd recommend any story by Laelia. There are small points of light within the darkness.

But bottom line: SRU Dream Girl offended me and makes me a little ashamed that I like BE.
