Ha, wow, I didn't even know Rachel died. In fact, I forgot her name. I suppose it doesn't matter all that much. And I agree, those offshoot stories about the other aliens and where they all came from were some of the better books of the series. Still, I only read one of them and never went any further with the series. I guess I outgrew them at that point. But still, when I was in middle school and all, those books were the greatest!

Didn't mean to Rule 34 anything, by the way. I'm not implying that Animorphs were/are a fetish, or even should be. I hope they get left alone. But, I do think that they piqued my interest in transformation as a whole, and guided me into the fetish genre that we all know and love.
