Even though I was into TF back then, I never read them. The images on the covers looked cheesy as hell.
That and they were really skinny as well. Even at the tender age of... whatever I was, a Goosebumps book was essentially a 15 minute speed bump.
Then again, I was reading The Stand and Tommyknockers at age 10-12 or so.
