To tell the truth, I was hoping you'd say that. That's actually
exactly what I was talking about. It's not a 'back-up' if you play it. And no part of your standard end-user license agreement makes any allowance for downloading it online.
To be technically in the clear, one must have their own card reader (or borrow someone else's) and either never play that copy, or destroy the original. But it's not like anyone keeps the sales reciepts, either.
It's kind of the opposite of marijuana: illegal to DO, legal to posses.
