This is one of the reasons all of the "Faggotry" on 4chan doesn't bother me that much.
When a offensive word is used in a situation devoid of any of the original offensive intent, it generally only serves to dilute the word's offensiveness in the popular lexicon.
Besides, 4chan's terminology is making it out into the greater world. I've heard non-b/tards using 4chan memes in conversation.
Though if you're on this forum, and "furfag" offends you, you need to grow a backbone. This is a forum for porn, for chrissakes. Get over it.
Hell, I even know furries who use the term amongst themselves, and they're not (as far as I know) gay.
