Re: Why is Dracula true to the book, but not Frankenstein?

Quote:
So the trend continues, Hellstromm attempts to pass himself off as a horror expert and in doing so only reveals how little he knows about the subject.
[Judgment, phrased as to emphasize his incompetence]

That's one of the most common misconceptions people have about "Frankenstein". I wonder what, if anything Hellstromm will have to say in his defense. Probably nothing, as usual though.
[Judgment, worded to frame Hellstromm as a coward]
Quote:

If I'm wrong why'd you attempt to correct me on Lost Boys II? I've never claimed to be a horror expert, all I've done is point out your errors. I haven't "yelled" at you, or defended George Romero, but if you're implying I was defending him then you are also implying that you were attacking him.
[All perspective statements]

Once again all you've done is show us that you have no idea what you are talking about, not when it comes to movies, or books and especially not me.
[Judgment, Emphasizing an inaccurate and unverifiable generalization of hellstromm's knowledge]

Claiming that anyone yelled at you or got angry with you when it's impossible to discern those emotions through cold text (and an illogical assumption to make when no all caps, bold text or exclamation points are used) is only an attempt to make it appear that you are a victim of bullying, and you are not that.
[Judgment, generalizing hellstromm's behavior using unreliable information]

The only one showing any signs of emotion in his messages here (anger or otherwise) is you.
[Unverifiable, as likely true as it is not. In general (minefield territory here), when someone is making a large number of judgments on others behaviors, they're using some facet of their emotion (prejudices, stereotypes or whatever) so, making my own judgment using this prejudice I have (not pretending anything else, sorry) I would say that you are indeed emotional about this.]

This is the internet, when someone is wrong on the internet people are going to take notice and let that person know about it.
[Unverifiable conjecture]

I'm not the only person who's pointed out your mistakes, not even just today. Yet I am the only person you have chosen to take issue with.
[I dunno, i'd say you were the one being the most offensive and provocative, See quoted post "I wonder what, if anything Hellstromm will have to say in his defense. Probably nothing, as usual though." Pretending this isn't a provocative statement is being intellectually dishonest]

I have no problem with you personally, I simply make observations.
[Offensive ones]

You can post about horror all you like, but when you make posts that are so obviously full of misconceptions and inaccurate information people are going to comment on it.
[Perception]

Although I have commented on your mistakes more than once, they were never made to "sound" angry, never was I "yelling" at you.
[Perception]

You have chosen to attach that emotion to the messages for whatever reason.
[Behavior Judgment]

I'm almost certain that my comment this time will cause a similar effect, you will view this as being angry or that I'm yelling when I'm not. [Well damn, you sure are offensive for not being angry]

I don't know why you want to think I'm angry with you, or why you'd want everyone else to think I am, but I'm letting you and everyone else know right now, that you're mistaken.
[And you did so in a rude and provocative way. You really are a troll.]
Comments in handy brackets.

Sorry to push the cold pin of rationalism through your balloon of pseudo-rationalistic defense. Boy, that was a bad analogy.
