yeh sorry if its not too happy on your system, its indeed a .mp4, and on a mac, but videolan ( vlc ) will play it, i have vlc .8xx and its fine, i tend to export in uncompressed format and file convert down, it works well and gives you a higher original rez / quaility master file.

as for ARing down this is about as low as you can go, in poser 4 at least.
