Simple. Server owner gets nailed, forced to hand over logs. Oh look, there's your IP address with an account active on the server and everything!

Corrections in bold.

Sure, they might also charge a fine but its not like it whould be some GIANT amount or somin, so as a conclusion i really dont see what everyone is gitting so worked up for beats me. cause the chance of gitting thrown in jail or charged a fine from somin this stupid is probly about 10,000 to 1
EULA states "Failure to comply with the restrictions and limitations contained in this Section 4 shall result in the immediate, automatic termination of the license granted hereunder and may subject you to civil and/or criminal liability." That means you're not allowed to use their software as soon as you break the EULA, on risk of civil (pay a fine) or even criminal (jail time) liability. And as a friendly reminder, you agreed to those terms when you ran the installer, not when you connected to Blizzard's servers.

In closing, you obviously know where the period is on the keyboard. Please use it for something besides an unnecessary ellipsis. And you're breaking the law. Stop this bullshit attitude of "I'm invincible, no one can find out and it's perfectly okay!" That attitude makes you the one most likely to get caught.
