Re: Favorite Bonds
Man, I grew up on the old Bond films. Granted, I'm only 23, but my dad was a huge bond fan, and as kids, my brothers and I were always watching Sean Connery as James Bond. Supposedly he wasn't Ian Fleming's first choice to play Bond, but I think that there is no one who can compare to the original. Pierce Brosnan had the suave thing down, but that was about it. He was too much "Guns and Ammo", and he was much too slight of a person. Honestly, there was nothing intimidating about him. Connery on the other hand, picked up a fucking couch and hit a guy with it in one film. In Goldfinger, he hits OddJob with a gold ingot. He was a much more physically formidable Bond, but still had the charm and charisma. To me, he just seemed like the quintessential Bond for his all-around characteristics.
