I remember seeing a "made for TV movie" starring Drew Barrymore, called "The Doppleganger." It was a rather forgettable movie all around, but at the end I distinctly remember a very, VERY graphic lengthy scene where Barrymore's character mutates and splits into two exact clone-like replicas. Then there's also an extensive scene where the two merge back into one person again.

I think the premise was her split personalities had become so extreme that they needed separate bodies to contain each one or something like that.

If I hadn't been like twelve at the time, I would have taped it.
