A 50' woman would be literally incapable of respiration, no matter how much air she inhaled due to the oxygen being far too small to be of any use. The opposite is also true - a shrunken woman would also find herself unable to breathe because the oxygen would be too large to be absorbed properly.

Then you get into the whole "how does she eat/drink/whatever" questions and the whole thing just dissolves into impossibility.

That's why I prefer magic as well!
Ahhle-hoy! There's a way around everything. If it's a "biological" or chemical transformation, then people could still breathe. Your lungs are made to accept only a certain molecule, and more lung will accept the same kind of molecule, only in a larger proportion. And you don't really quadruple the strength. The magnitudes all increase by the same amount, eight, it's just that you will increase also the torque required to move, and it increases by the SQUARE of the distance.

So well, the way around is to do your maths properly. As for... what could you use? Humor. That always works.

"It only affects cute girls!? How in hell does that work!?"
"Perfectly, thanks."

There's also the "out of sight, out of mind" approach.

"By everyone I meant everyone."
"Ah, so does that mean your..."
"I'd rather not think about it."

Besides if strength is a problem, remember that the heat our body produces contains many, many times as much energy as our muscle strength; it takes forty-one joules and some to create ten calories. Were there some way around it, then imagine the possibilities!

Just make sure that the rest of the story is enjoyable as well. That means plot, it means humor, and all those things so hard to do properly... I'd been thinking of writing one myself, my drawink skills ain't that good, though I've tried to make some comics (non-GTS, I'll do that once I get the female figure [the attractive female figure, I mean] right). But my writing is sort of sick and twisted. Thought I might get into trouble here, the way I imagine things is usually rather disturbing.

I mean, who else would think of protoplasm composed of chemically mutated ova producing bizarre (and, to the clich? degree, sexy [i.e. you know, nekomimi and that sorta stuff]), colossal mutations in animals (or people...) it finds and assimilates, the damage contained only by the ocean's shoreline, and a man being put to the difficult test of deciding whether culture or sheer savage joy is more important, whether he will help things cross the Pacific puddle to a larger continent and inflict the human race with a shmexy worldwide apocalypse or wait for da bomb and die with it? Hey, I didn't just kill this thread, right?

(checks the thread's pulse.)

So you see, since ova are a rather touchy subject, together with stem cells, nuclear explosions, mutations on humanity, and personal choices, I decided not to write it. though for a game it would make a damn good plot.

Psst. I wanted to know if you thought it was a good idea.
