Also, when asked what he was currently working on, Mike Dougherty said he was working on a series for Warner Bros called "Bitches" and it's about 4 female werewolves in New York City. Brilliant! Like Sex and the City, but good."

What if Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte didn't frequent their estheticians quite as often? You might end up with Bitches, the dramedy project now in development at Fox.
Bitches, says the Reporter, revolves around four female friends in New York City whose bad time of the month is, like, seriously bad, seeing as they are all werewolves. (Damn that full moon.) This "quirky urban fairy tale" is being penned by Michael Dougherty (Trick 'R Treat, X2: X-Men United) and, should it get greenlit to series, will be exec-produced by Pushing Daisies' Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts.
Werewolves, of course, are the new vampires come the new year, which will bring us Benicio del Toro's (presumably make-up-free?) Wolfman remake and the lycanthropic Twilight sequel, New Moon.

While it sounds mildly interesting - I'm a little curious if Fox is even going to be able to use a title like this for network TV (although it's been a while since I watched anything other than DVDs of TV shows so maybe things have changed regarding language). FX might be a possibility...
Either way, it's Fox...they'll find some way to really jack it up.
Personally, I'd still rather see an ensemble show like this with a slightly different twist than ordinary werewolves. Let's see some different animals - maybe you have a really snooty, fashionable woman who turns into a well-coiffed French poodle, and a hippy who turns into an afghan hound or something...I don't know - let's mix it up and make it more interesting. How about some were-farm animals?
