I haven't read Tsukiyo no Fromage since I don't like reading magazine scans, though I am familiar with the mangaka Tinkle's other series "Nusunde Lilith" which sort of started off on a bad foot before it somehow managed to grab my attention with the weird logic of the characters, especially the female protagonist. She lets her older brother draw nude paintings of her because she has an older brother complex, but later steals them in the middle of the night after her older brother submits the finished painting to an art museum; she does this under a hidden identity. I guess the main redeeming feature is the female protagonist's cousin, Saya, from Japan who brought along Japanese traditional items like a hataki (It's kind of like a feather duster but it uses cloth strips). Saya also considers nekomimi cosplay a Japanese traditional item, so yeah.
Tinkle's strong point is her illustration abilities which are kind of similar to
Nekoneko who is another female illustrator doing her own manga serials now called Puchi Hound...
