Angelina Jolie and Orlando Bloom weren't on the ballot because they don't have the knowledge or experience to get through a Katie Couric interview. Barrack Obama does. He's proven that over the last two years.

I don't think Obama won the presidency because Americans are stupid voters. I believe a lot of people voted for Obama for the wrong reasons. A lot of people voted for McCain for the wrong reasons too. There will always be stupid people. I believe the majority of votes cast were by people who had measured McCain's versus Obama's political values and ideas though. Obama received more of those informed votes than McCain did. He likely received more of the uninformed votes as well. That isn't his fault though and it doesn't mean he'll be a shit-for-brains president.
