It's just bad netiquette, nothing too serious, I think I did the direct linking bit to images hosted on Isotonix's site in a couple threads before I learned that it is bad manners myself. Though, as a personal recommendation, you really should organise your stuff in folders according to artist so that you don't have the problem where you can't remember who did what or where you found something. |
I could give a long explanation for both, but I do not feel it's worth typing that much. The first is from nearly half a decade ago. Too old to bring up in a modern thread. The second was posted during a time when most people could not access pixiv and I have not learned out to navigate it well (aka I did not know you could not go back when opening the images into full sized, therefor lost the artist's site).
In the longrun, I do not think it was right to mention my name at all.
