I hope it's not because of my translation but it could be.
Anyway, until page 5 I don't think that the plot is nonsensical, it's just like the stereotyped story about the scientist who creates a highly unlikely stuff which can make what the reader wants to see (depending on the fetish the comic revolves around). What I find nonsensical is Chizuru: how much stupid should be a girl to think that she will get taller if she jumps the whole day?
