Excellent start! Here's hoping for more. The idea is awesome and I'm glad you're keeping the sex to a minimum. Being process related means more focus on the growth and hopefully we get to see many more processes happen before it's all over.
The descriptions in general are your strong point and your dialog is superb as well. I'm enjoying the plot and the characters and have no big technical complaints. Encore!
