Oh no its the "Stop taking it so personal---its just business" argument.

1. If we did this by thinking only about business then we repeat the same formula until business went down and then we'd change it up a little. Then REPEAT.

If we put half the effort into our BE clips that we do our sales would drop but the % would be half that at the very most. So business wise we are being stupid. Why? Because its personal. We try to make as many community offered suggestions a reality in our clips as we can because we enjoy that interaction and the challenge it presents.

When a non-subjectively phrased "don't waste your money" rant about our clip is posted as the first reply we start thinking interaction and all the extra effort ain't worth shit when we thought we were building a relationship with the community where there was some trust that we were not simply here to rape people's cookie jars. The effort was there with "Saturday Night" and its more then obvious when you watch it so what is the point in personally making sure that few people buy it as possible? Teaching us a lesson in loyalty? Even though you've bought so many clips you still will go out of your way to call us out and make it hurt financially when you feel we've made a mistake---not a mistake of not trying hard enough though---just not making porn as perfectly as its made in so many other fetishes I guess.

2. Shimmerin brings up an interesting point. There are people who emailed us saying they hated the first Daphne clip and some of their reasons were valid while some were, as they readily admitted, just personal tastes. The valid complaints we attempted to address and the personal tastes we kept in mind and tried to make videos later that were catered to them.

This happens with most of our clips.

3. Pms and emails are a pretty good tool as The Warlock mentioned. I frequently have to delete messages from mine because its always approaching full. The Warlock has sent me pms with suggestions on how to improve some things. DrEnlarge has as well and in one recently he criticized the Hooters clip which was one other people really liked.
We have all those PMs, all the emails and all the requests that come off our "Request Form" printed out and we go through them all the time before shoots.

If someone doesn't like a clip and they PM me and explain why--maybe they only like scared inflation VS enthusiastic and the clip was mostly the latter--then I'll usually say "What clip you want instead?' and then I give it to them. I've given away a good number of clips here while having PM conversations.

Candide-I wasn't referring to this forum when I said "our forum". I was referring to the forum at TaylorMadeClips.

We are very receptive to suggestions AND complaints but what form they take should be relative to the situation and relative to the producer-customer relationship and I certainly feel that the form used here was fucked up.

That being said I still only posted here because Netripper got pissed at me and posted here out of anger and said a bunch of negative shit yet didn't mention that he actually liked the clip and even recommends it.
I read Candide's original reply and his reply to Taylor and didn't say anything. But when replying to Netripper I thought at least he was pissed and that was a decent motivation for posting what he did but Candide seemed to make an attempt to make us "listen" and stop taking chances by hurting our sales.

Even this subsequent wave of criticism is at least part of on ongoing argument with me and it isn't being offered solely and simply to hurt our sales therefore making a point that we were stupid and we failed and we deserve to pay for it regardless of any track record or the amount of effort that went into it.
