How is it possible than in this entire posting no one has mentioned nearly EVERY Jack Chalker book ever written?

Charon: A Dragon at the Gate (Volume Three of The Four Lords of the Diamond) There is a lot of transformation. It has been a very long time since I read it but I think it had slow descriptions unlike his Well World that are literally flash transformations.
