Around the time that the hottiefied girl was thrown into an all-male cell and she was, shall we say, passed around like a joint at a high school party, the story completely lost me. The fun started to recede with the principal, but this was the breaking point. Stories like this should be, I don't know, fun, not disturbing. Ultimately, I found that I was reading about an innocent girl suffering through disproportionate punishment for a minor transgression (and even then, I'm stretching the definition). Maybe people who loved Drag Me to Hell would enjoy this, but I just couldn't.

Her friend turned out pretty nice, though, even if we never ended up seeing the 'Carlos' that made her into a rich glamourpuss.

I'm not faulting the art, by any means; it was superb. The story that the art was used to tell, however...

This. The part that really bugged me is when she finally had her memory erased. Up until that point, she had one or two bouts of what I'll call "sluttishness", but suddenly she's okay with what's basically gang-rape?
