From an evolutionary standpoint, those who have the most offspring during their lifetimes, which also surive to have offspring of their own, are the most fit and are selected for.

Ummmm actually it's the opposite. The UNDER developed countries have more kids earlier. They are sexually active as soon as possible (childhood marriage)
Their kids aren't as well prepared for, but they HAVE them whereas many in the West have few (if any) kids. They may have SEX but they don't produce kids (for example Japan which has a declining population)
Sex doesn't do anything for evolution. Only successful childbirth (and raising) does.
