I HAVE played soccer and do like it much, just soccer is a much more forgiving sport so I don't really call it a MAN'S sport like REAL football, rugby (never played it but watched it), bull/horse riding (never done it but it looks intense), and wrestling (don't like it but it takes a guy to endure that pain). Short in short, soccer along with basketball, volleyball, baseball (though you need skill for this sport), NASCAR, water polo, ect. are what we call pussy sports.
(P.S. I both love soccer and basketball and am not trying to offend anyone, just those sports aren't in the same caliber as the other sports.

I think Real football is much more fun than American football, and it takes more determination and skill to play well. In football you have to figure the angle the ball is going to rebound off when you head it, know when to foul someone and who to foul if you are on defense so that people flench when you run up to them. I have sustained far worse injuries in soccer than I have in any other sport (discounting when I busted my head open playing Tag). It is the only sport in the Olympics that I have seen someone loose an ear playing. It is a noncontact sport not a non-violent sport. Furthermore in football unlike American football, all the players have to be able to think on their feet. In american football only one person has to think and their is very little thinking on your feet. Besides American Football has very little to do with feet.
